COVID outbreak at Burlington retirement home claims third life

The outbreak of COVID-19 at a Burlington retirement home continues as the death of a third resident has been reported.

The outbreak of COVID-19 at a Burlington retirement home continues as the death of a third resident has been reported.

Halton Public Health indicates there are currently 15 cases of residents at the Village of Tansley Woods who have the coronavirus, as well as six staff members. There are two other cases at the retirement home for people whose role is not identified. That means the outbreak has a total of 23 cases.

The third death of a resident occurred during the past few days.

Halton Public Health continues to monitor the situation and treating it as an ongoing outbreak of COVID-19.

It is located at 4100 Upper Middle Rd.
