COVID-19 vaccine uptake remains high among Catholic school staff in Oakville, Burlington, Milton

More than 94 per cent of full-time staff at the Halton Catholic District School Board are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

As of January 12, 3,129 or 3,319 school board employees and trustees have received at least two doses of the vaccine. This is above the 87 per cent of Halton residents overall who are fully vaccinated.

Seven people are partially-vaccinated, six have provided a documented medical exemption and 175 people have attested they’re not fully vaccinated.

According to the board’s policy, all staff, students, parents and essential visitors must complete the COVID-19 school and child care screening tool daily before entering the school or worksite.
