Beginning this Saturday, Nov. 6, COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Milton will move to an appointment basis only.

This applies to all appointments for first, second and third doses of the vaccine.

As of this weekend, some Halton residents will be eligible for a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if it has been at least six months after their second dose. This includes residents 70 years of age and older, healthcare workers and designated essential caregivers in congregate settings, individuals who received two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine or one dose of the Janssen vaccine, and First Nations, Inuit and Metis adults and their non-Indigenous household members.

Appointments will be available at Halton Community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics, which are operating five days per week and must be booked in advance. This can be done through the online booking system.

The clinics will operate on an appointment basis only to support an expected increase in demand for COVID-19 vaccination, starting Nov. 6.
