COVID-19 pop-up clinics in Brampton on Oct. 23, Mississauga Oct. 30-31

Three pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics are set for Saturday (Oct. 23) at places of worship in Brampton, as the Peel Region works toward herd immunity.
The clinics each begin at 11 a.m., and are open to anyone born in 2009 or earlier who wants their first dose of a vaccine against COVID-19, or has had the appropriate interval before they can receive their second dose.
The locations are:
- Nanaksar Gurdwara, 64 Timberlane Dr., from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Jot Parkash Gurdwara, 135 Sun Pac Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sikh Heritage Centre, 11796 Airport Rd., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The following weekend, the Praise Cathedral Worship Centrre in Mississauga (6785 Millcreek Dr.) is hosting a pop-up clinic for the Black, African and Caribbean (BAC) communities. This clinic is from 12 noon to 6:30 p.m.; walk-in clinics are accepted and appointments can also be booked.
