Halton Region’s health department has declared outbreaks of COVID-19 at two Burlington workplaces.
The workplaces – which are not being identified – are accounting for 11 infected people with the virus.
Generally outbreaks are declared when a health department determines there is an uncontrolled spread of the virus.
The first outbreak was declared September 7 and includes seven people; the second was issued September 10 and has affected four people.
Halton has not revealed if these workplaces remain open during the outbreak.
