There were three new COVID-19 cases today (July 23) in Niagara Region, which balanced off evenly with three resolved cases.

That left the active cases in Niagara at 47, up a few from the all-year-low of 44 set on July 21.

With 22 new cases over the past week (July 17 to 23), a daily average is a fraction above three per day.

While St Catharines leads the region with 18 active cases and Niagara Falls following that with nine, Niagara-on-the-Lake is the only municipality in Niagara with zero cases though Grimsby, Fort Erie and Wainsfleet are all close with just one case each.
