The following is a summary of active COVID-19 cases reported by the Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board for the week of September 6 to 10.

Residents are reminded that these cases weren’t necessarily transmitted in the schools themselves — they may have been transmitted elsewhere in the community.

The following Mississauga schools are reporting active cases:

Peel District School Board:

  • Burnhamthorpe Public School – Cases: 1, closed classrooms: 1, school open
  • Vista Heights Public School – Cases: 1, closed classrooms: 1, school open

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board:

  • St. Sofia CES – Cases: 1 (staff), closed classrooms: 0, school open

Be advised that some cases from earlier in the week may since be considered resolved and not listed.
