Country festival and awards show returns to Hamilton for 11th anniversary
The CMAOntario Awards and Festival are returning to Hamilton's Theatre Aquarius for its 11th anniversary.

Hamilton is going a little bit country with the return of the CMAOntario Awards and Festival.

The Country Music Association of Ontario announced that tickets to the June 2023 events will go on sale Friday at 11 a.m.

Live music shows will take place throughout the city from June 2 to 4, capped off with the 7 p.m. awards show at Theatre Aquarius.

“The CMAOntario is thrilled to be returning to Hamilton,” said CMAOntario president Steve Kassay. “Fans here know and support country music, and we can’t wait to bring the fun of music and activity to Hamilton once again for our biggest annual event.

Theatre Aquarius will host the 11th anniversary of the CMAOntario Awards.

Tickets for the CMAOntario Awards, celebrating its 11th year, will be available for purchase at theatreaquarius.org or by phone at 1-800-465-7529.

Early bird pricing will range from $69 for regular reserved seating to $225 for fan VIP packages.

Nominations for the 2023 CMAOntario Awards will open for submissions in February at cmaontario.ca. Additional details, including performers, will be announced in the new year.
