If you’re interested in the latest on all the development in downtown Burlington, don’t miss the local councillor’s walking tour tomorrow.

Ward 2 councillor Lisa Kearns will be leading the event, being held for the third time over the last few months, to review and discuss current, significant planning projects in various stages of Burlington’s downtown.

“This will be an interactive and highly-informative walk focused on planning and development in the downtown,” said Kearns.

“Using simple and engaging language, we’ll talk about how the area is changing, and why.”

Kearns said more than 100 residents have attended the previous two tours and the feedback she’s received has been overwhelmingly positive.

The event runs Saturday, April 23, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Participants are asked to meet at Brant St. and Lakeshore Rd., at the entrance to Spencer Smith Park.

No registration is required. For more information, email [email protected].
