Costco refund scam making the rounds in Mississauga and Brampton

Residents in Mississauga, Brampton and other Ontario communities are being warned about a phone scam that’s claiming it’s retail giant Costco offering up reward points cash.
Saying that the recipient is eligible to collect $452.96 in cash as a two per cent return on previous purchases, the scam asks you to hit a link.
Once the link is hit, scammers will then try to get vital banking information from the person in order to ‘deposit’ the cash.
If you are sent the following, either delete it or ignore it.
