Cops seek suspect for assault with a weapon in a Whitby pizzeria
A man is wanted after a fight with a pizzeria employee.

A Whitby man is wanted by police after an a pizza shop employee was injured in altercation in town.

Shortly before 7 p.m on March 12 a man walked into the Pizzaville at 321 Brock Street and started an arguement with an employee of the take-out restaurant.

The man began to pick up items around the store and throw them at the employee. He then punched the worker in the back. Ultimately the employee suffered minor injuries in the attack.

The man then ran from the store. He has not yet been found or even identified as of April 12.

The store’s surveillance cameras recorded the man, and police police have issued a public appeal for information leading to the man’s identity.

The man is described as; Black, 30-35 years old, with black brush cut hair. He was wearing a blue sweater, grey jeans, white and grey Nike basketball shoes and winter jacket with a fur hood.
