Police say they need the public’s help in tracking down three people and a damaged car involved in an overnight July 2 Mississauga shooting that injured one man.

Peel Regional Police investigators with the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau say one victim suffered a gunshot wound not considered to be life threatening in the 2:30 a.m. shooting that took place near Hurontario St. and Glenn Hawthorne Blvd., just south of Bristol Rd.

The wounded man remains in stable condition, police say.

The getaway vehicle involved in the early Sunday morning shooting is described as a 2012-2019 black Ford Taurus Police Interceptor package.

“The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side mirror due to firearms being discharged from within the vehicle,” police said in a news release.

Three masked culprits were inside the vehicle as it sped away from the scene, police say.

Investigators ask anyone who sees the vehicle or who may have been in the area and witnessed the incident to call police at 905-453-3311, ext. 1133, or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
