Convenience Store Robbed in Mississauga

A suspect is at large following a convenience store robbery in Mississauga early Tuesday.

“The victim was uninjured,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Bancroft Wright.

Officers were sent to Hurontario St. and Hillcrest Ave. at 12:51 a.m., where cash was taken from the store in Cooksville.

His face was covered and no weapon was seen, said Wright.

The suspect is described as a black male, 22-to-25-years-old, standing 5-foot-6.

He has a medium build and was wearing dark jeans.
