Construction will close two popular Milton parks all summer

A pair of parks on the east side of Milton will be closed for most of the summer.
Neighbours of Beaty Trail Park, 675 Trudeau Dr., and Trudeau Park, 475 Trudeau Dr., have noticed fencing around both popular parks, restricting access.
The parks have been closed in order for the Town to perform a series of upgrades, improvements and to ensure a long life.
Beaty and Trudeau parks will see improvements to:
- Tree preservation
- Open grass areas
- Landscape planting
- Pathway improvements
- Children’s play area
- Shelter refurbishment
- Site furniture and signage
- Grading and drainage improvements
Both parks are expected to be closed for the season, with a projected opening of winter, later this year.
