Construction brings detours and changes to Brampton Transit routes

Road closures and construction will cause some temporary detours and stop closures on Brampton Transit lines next week.

Chinguacousy Rd. will be closed between Mayfield Rd. and Clockwork Dr. starting on Monday (Aug. 29) to Thursday, Sept. 1. During construction, both the northbound and southbound legs of Route 26 Mount Pleasant will be on detour and bus stops along Clockwork Drive will be closed.

The Route 52 McMurchy line will also have detours and stop closures until Friday, Sept. 2, as the Region of Peel will be closing Railroad St. between McMurchy Ave. and West St. to replace a sanitary sewer.

The following bus stops along Route 26 will be closed until Sept. 1:

Southbound Edenbrook Hill Drive opposite Mincing Trail (#4150)
Southbound Edenbrook Hill Drive north of Clockwork Drive (#4151)
Westbound Clockwork Drive between Edenbrook Hill Drive and Chinguacousy Road (#4152)

Route 26 Mount Pleasant Northbound:

Regular routing to Mayfield Road and Creditview Road
Right on Creditview Road
Left on Remembrance Road
Eastbound Remembrance Road west of Chinguacousy Road, temporary bus stop facing east
