Calling all kite lovers! KiteFest Canada is returning to the Brampton Fairgrounds, just north of Brampton in Caledon.

The annual kite festival is happening on June 3-4 as a two-day outdoor celebration of kite flying and eco-friendly fun.

The event organizers say the festival is geared towards kids who want to learn the joys of building and flying their own kite (and the science behind it), as well as parents and grandparents to connect with their inner child.

Attendees can bring their own kites, or watch professional fliers “paint the skies with their choreographed performances.”

Early bird tickets are on sale for $5.00 until May 14th and $10.00 for general admission, while tickets for kids four and under are free.

The event, now in its ninth year, is supported through the City of Brampton’s tourism event sponsorship program among other sponsors.
