Collision shuts down intersection in Brampton

A collision is causing traffic delays in Brampton this afternoon (Aug. 12).

Around noon, two vehicles were involved in a crash at Bovaird Dr E and Great Lakes Dr.

Two people were transported by ambulance to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection is closed down and expected to remain closed until approximately 1:30 p.m.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
