Collision closes ramp from QEW to Highway 403 in Oakville

A highway closure is in effect due to a collision in Oakville today (September 4).
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) reports that a crash took place on the Toronto bound off-ramp from the QEW to Highway 403.
Early reports indicate that a motorcyclist collided with the back of an OPP cruiser, with the motorcyclist being transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The MTO expects the ramp to remain closed for four to six hours.
