Collision between bicyclist and vehicle sends Oakville man to hospital

A collision between a cyclist and a vehicle in Oakville has sent a man to hospital with serious injuries and police want to figure out what happened.

Halton police is appealing for witnesses and dash cam video in collision involving a cyclist.

On Thursday, May 23, at 6:15 a.m. police received reports of a collision at the intersection of Third Line and Kings College Road in Oakville involving a motor vehicle and a cyclist.

As a result of the collision the cyclist, a 57-year-old resident of Oakville, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
