With the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC set to host home openers this summer, Tim Hortons Field will undergo maintenance beginning Monday (July 5).

The City of Hamilton will close Balsam Ave North between Beechwood Ave and Cannon St East. Sidewalks in the area will also be closed.

Weather permitting, the work is anticipated to be completed on July 8.

Any impacts to HSR will be shared at Hamilton.ca/hsrdetours.

The Ticats’ home opener is set for Monday, Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. against the Toronto Argonauts in the Labour Day Classic. The 2021 Grey Cup will be played at Tim Hortons Field on Dec. 12.

Forge FC Hamilton has already begun its 2021 Canadian Premier League campaign with all games being played in Winnipeg. After each team plays eight matches in Manitoba, they will return home to play a regular travel schedule.
