The Portuguese bakery sold fresh bread, sweets and sandwiches and received rave reviews, with many customers calling the bread “the best in town.”
“I highly recommend this bakery everything fresh and made to perfection,” one Google reviewer said.
“Honestly, Trigo Bakery is my go-to spot when it comes to fresh flavours, high quality, and kind service. Their bread is always fresh — the aroma alone is enough — and the cakes? Simply incredible,” another person wrote.
The bakery used to be packed with customers.
“They had a line outside the bakery on weekends,” one person said on Reddit.
But people noted a change after the original owners sold the business.
The post on Reddit shows a sign in the window, dated May 31, 2026, from the landlord claiming the bakery failed to pay rent and that the landlord is taking possession of the unit.
