CLOSURE: Part of Highway 427 shut down in Toronto

A section of Highway 427 has been shut down in Toronto following a crash.

Ontario Provincial Police said at around 3:30 p.m. that officers were at the scene of a collision in the northbound lanes at Finch Avenue.

All northbound lanes are closed at Finch and OPP said the closure is expected to last four hours.

A traffic camera shows a vehicle that crashed into the centre median.

Officers didn’t say if anyone was injured.

There is a heavy traffic backup in the area.
