One of Mississauga’s oldest Pizza Pizza restaurants has closed.

The Pizza Pizza at Sheridan Centre, 2255 Erin Mills Parkway, in Mississauga appears to have permanently closed.

A spokesperson for Pizza Pizza couldn’t be reached but the restaurant is removed from the company website and marked as closed on Google.

A photo posted to Reddit shows the signage on the restaurant has been taken down.

“The Sheridan mall pizza pizza has permanently shutdown after being open for more than 18 years+,” the post reads.

“Very sad that they closed down,” one person wrote on Google Reviews.

“That’s very sad I remember going here in high school,” another said on Reddit.

It is unclear if another restaurant will open in the space. There is a proposal for a large, residential development at the mall.

Those craving pizza can find another Pizza Pizza restaurant a few minutes away at 2273 Dundas St. W.
