A major Brampton intersection will close for construction this month.
The Queen Street West and McLaughlin Road intersection in Brampton will be closed to all traffic from July 17 to 20, according to a notice from Peel Region.
Peel Region said crews will be completing underground water infrastructure upgrades, final road reconstruction, milling and paving.
The intersection will close to all traffic at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 17, and reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday, July 20.
Detours will be in place, and police officers will manage traffic throughout the closure.
Brampton Transit service impacts will be posted at bramptontransit.com during the week of July 13.
