CLOSURE: Late-night pizza restaurant shuttering its doors in Toronto

A restaurant serving Italian food including pizza that also operated as a late-night club has announced that they’re now winding down their operations and are closing their doors.

Pizza Wine Disco made it clear what they offered with their name, serving up pizza, drinks and vibes in a lower level space. While it was a place where you could get a full meal, it was also a high energy space that hosted frequent events and was known as a party destination.

The restaurant and nightclub took to social media to let people know that they would soon be closing down.

“After over four incredible years, this weekend will be our final one,” reads a post on social media from Pizza Wine Disco.

“Thank you to everyone who supported us, worked with us, and made this place what it was. For one last time, make your move.”

The social media post accumulated hundreds of likes within just hours, with many people making comments mourning the demise of Pizza Wine Disco. Several people simply commented “no,” sadly, with people saying they’re “sad” and “devastated.” Others commented saying they had made a lot of good memories at the space.

Pizza Wine Disco on King West is closing its doors forever after this weekend.
