Lanes were closed on the QEW due to a multi-vehicle crash at the Toronto and Mississauga border on Tuesday morning.
The three westbound left lanes on the highway were blocked at Highway 427, the Ontario Provincial Police said on X at 8:51 a.m.
The extent of injuries was unknown, police said.
There is heavy traffic in the area, and drivers should use caution while passing or plan an alternate route, police added.
