Closure: Chinese restaurant shut down after failed health inspection in Mississauga

A popular Chinese restaurant in Mississauga has been shut down by Peel Health after failing a recent health inspection.
Red Lotus Restaurant, located in the shopping plaza at 1177 Central Pkwy W, was inspected and closed on Thursday, Aug. 24.
According to the inspection report, the restaurant did not store food to prevent contamination and did not not take adequate measures to prevent pests, posing significant health risks.
Other infractions include not keeping the restaurant in a clean, sanitary state.
