Orono convenience store robbery

Durham Police responded to a trouble call at the Mister Convenience store on Main Street in Orono in the early afternoon of April 27. Police say the suspect entered the business and picked up several bottles of liquor before attempting to leave without paying.

An employee who confronted him was assaulted, as was a second store clerk who followed the suspect outside. The suspect, later identified as Zachary Henry, 29, of no fixed address, fled in a waiting vehicle.

Both victims suffered minor injuries.

Henry was later taken into custody following a separate break-and-enter investigation.
