Six routes in Oshawa, six routes in Ajax and five routes in Pickering were also cancelled Thursday, with First Student, Century and Stock Transport school bus providers all involved.

The schools affected are Paul Dwyer, Phillip Coffey and GL Roberts in Oshawa; Lincoln Alexander, Southwood Park and Bolton Falby in Ajax; and Pine Ridge and St. Isaac Jogues in Pickering.
