Clarington business defrauded of more than $40,000 – Scarborough woman charged

A 26-year-old Scarborough woman has been charged with defrauding a retail business in Clarington.
The woman allegedly defrauded the business of more than $40,000 using fraudulent documents to obtain refunds between November and December 2020.
Sumayya Nagori is charged with: Fraud Over $5,000; Possession of Proceed Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and Utter Forged Document. She was released on an Undertaking.
Police would like to ensure there are no further victims.
