City of Brampton officials are urging residents to do their part to keep the parks clean.

Through the Brampton Parks Cleanup program, which continues until Nov. 1, residents can select a local park in need of cleaning and then register with the City, which will provide cleaning supplies.

The volunteer cleanup crews are then asked to take photos of the cleanup in action and tag the City of Brampton on social media.

After registering for a park cleanup, the self-led crews will receive bags and gloves within five days to aid in the cleanup effort. Officials say due to COVID-19 precautions, they will only be allowing self-led cleanups, in groups of fewer than 25, and no larger community park cleanups.

To register, visit brampton.ca and follow the Twitter feed. Cleanup photos can be sent
