Residents of Brampton are encouraged to provide their input regarding the noise wall on Williams Parkway.

The wall was implemented between Harridine Road to North Park Drive—it was originally intended to mitigate noise which was anticipated as a result of the planned expansion of Williams Parkway, but that plan has since been cancelled.

Council made the decision to reassess whether it was necessary to expand Williams Parkway from four lanes to six after construction of the wall had already started.

Then, last November, the expansion was officially cancelled by the City.

Considering the City no longer plans to move forward with the expansion, residents are encouraged to provide feedback on the wall.

The survey is specifically related to adding a stain to the wall, as well as potentially turning it into a mural featuring designs by local artists.
