The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation made a first-quarter 2022 payment of $1,698,285 to the City of Hamilton for hosting Elements Casino Flamboro.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) made a first-quarter 2022 payment of $1,698,285 to the City of Hamilton for hosting Elements Casino Flamboro.

Since the gaming site opened in Oct. 2000, Hamilton has received $96,829,456.

“These payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site,” says OLG.

“(We are) proud to share casino gaming proceeds with local communities, contributing to economic recovery, infrastructure development and job creation.”

OLG says 100 per cent of its profits are reinvested in the province.

Elements casino is located in the area of Brock Rd. and Concession 4 in Dundas.

It offers table games, slot machines, and e-tables.

Elements is also the home of the Flamboro Downs race track.
