The City of Hamilton has ended its search for the perfect Christmas trees.

To kick off the season, the first official city tree installation will take place Friday (Nov. 12) at Memorial Square in Dundas. Crews will be on-site between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Trees will also go up at City Hall (Nov. 15) and Gore Park (Nov. 19), between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the respective dates.

Every year, the City asks residents to donate the “perfect tree” to be displayed at one of three locations across Hamilton. Over 25 submissions were received this year.
