Church burglar wanted for Pickering break-in, stealing collection box

A man is wanted after burglarizing a church in Pickering and making off with the collection box, police say.
Police allege the man entered a church on Bayly St. and Liverpool Rd. around 4 a.m. on Jan. 10. According to police, he grabbed a donation box full of cash and fled the scene.
Durham Regional Police are asking the public for help identifying the burglar. However, they have few descriptive details of the man, saying only he’s white and was last seen wearing a hoodie and a mask.
