Chowrasta Indian Cuisine expanding into Oshawa

Chowrasta Indian Cuisine, an Ontario Indian restaurant chain, is hosting a grand opening this weekend for its third location and second in Durham Region.
The new location is 633 King Street East in Oshawa, joining previously opened locations in Ajax and Thornhill.
According to their website, Chowrasta specializes in “spice-packed and fragrant Indian cuisine.” Their goal is to highlight lesser-known dishes that have “been kept away from the mainstream limelight.”
After hosting a soft opening on October 15 with limited menu options, Chowrasta is fully opening on October 23 with its full menu.
From 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, the first 100 customers can get a meat dish for $5 or a vegetable dish for $3.
