A popular Chinese takeout spot is opening its newest location inside a shopping mall in Brampton.
Szechwan Express is set to open at Bramalea City Centre, expanding the brand’s presence across Ontario, with existing locations in Toronto, North York, Mississauga, Etobicoke and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Menu items include made-to-order options such as Cantonese chow mein (crispy egg noodles topped with vegetables and a choice of protein), Hakka garlic noodles (noodles tossed with soy sauce, garlic and egg) and fried rice with chicken, beef, shrimp or vegetables.
Other offerings include customizable noodle soups and a selection of dim sum, such as har gow (shrimp dumplings), siu mai (pork dumplings), pan-fried dumplings, barbecue pork buns and sesame balls.
Signage for the restaurant is already in place at the shopping centre, though an official opening date has not yet been announced.
