Child on bike collides with car in Mississauga

A child is in hospital tonight after they were struck by a car while riding their bike down a Mississauga street.
The child was riding near Catalpa Rd and Chipley Cr, a residential neighbourhood in the city’s northeast just above Pearson, when they collided with a car as it exited a driveway.
Police confirmed the collision around 8 p.m. saying it happened about an hour earlier.
The child remains in hospital in non-life threatening condition. Police have not confirmed the child’s gender or age.
