Charity run to raise funds for Milton District Hospital

The fifth annual “Run for Milton” event in support of Milton District Hospital is returning soon.
The event, which is being organized by Mercy 4 Mankind, a subsidiary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA), aims to raise funds in support of the local hospital.
“Our goal is to help the local community and be there for the people who are in need,” reads the event’s website.
The run welcomes both serious and casual runners as well as walkers from all across Milton who will have the option to complete a 1k “fun walk” or a 5k run.
The event will take place at Mattamy National Cycling Centre, located at 2015 Pan Am Blvd. on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 8:30 a.m.
The registration deadline is Oct. 15 at 11:59 p.m.
