Sleep Cheap Charities Reap Niagara Falls
During Sleep Cheap Charities Reap next month, a room with a view of Niagara Falls could be yours for just $75 a night.

When then-Councillor, now-Mayor Jim Diodati started up “Sleep Cheap Charities Reap” in 2004, it was an event to celebrate the City’s 100th Anniversary and promote goodwill between the tourist industry and the City of Niagara Falls residents.

The following year, the charity component started up and thus far, it has raised $2.4 million for nearly 100 different local charities in the city.

Available exclusively to Niagara Region residents, Sleep Cheap offers discounted rates at 15 participating Niagara Falls hotels from Sunday, Nov. 19 through Thursday, Nov. 23.

Donations for rooms are $65 per night for a standard room, $75 for a Falls view or whirlpool room, and $125 for a waterpark room. Participants can book up to two-night stays.

The list of the 15 hotels is here and as a special promotion, participants can also book their spot at the Greg Frewin Theatre (5781 Ellen Ave.) and “Sit” Cheap while they enjoy, live on stage, the International Grand Champion of Magic Greg Frewin, as well as Christian Mascia and Alexandra in Wonders Magic!!

Sleep Cheap will offer a 20 per cent discount for two Greg Frewin weekday shows only on Nov. 23 and 24 with 50  per cent of the ticket sales going to charity.

Reservations for the event can be made starting next week on Wednesday, Oct. 18, starting at 9 a.m.
