Hamilton police arrested a 25-year-old local man after four armed robberies were reported over the course of seven days on the Hamilton Mountain.

An officer with the Hamilton Police Service (HPS) is facing multiple charges after an incident last Saturday (Oct. 23).

Police say Cst. Brandon Terdik pointed his service gun at another member of the HPS.

Additional details related to the incident were not made available and are now before the courts.

Terdik is facing two charges related to pointing a firearm and careless use of a firearm. He is scheduled to face a judge on Nov. 25 at 9 a.m.
