Changes to several Brampton Transit routes coming Monday

On Monday (January 3), Brampton Transit will return to running its regular schedule. However, also as of Monday, the transit company will be making some service adjustments.

These changes will affect 16 transit routes across the city in an effort to enhance the service provided.

“Brampton Transit will be implementing service changes and enhancing service levels to improve service reliability,” reads a statement from Brampton Transit.

As part of these adjustments, several routes have been cancelled until further notice, including the 501A/C Züm Queen, 561 Züm Queen West, 18B Dixie, 21 Heart Lake, 36 Gardenbrooke (school trips only), 58 Financial Drive, 65 Seniors Shopper, 92 Bramalea GO, 104 Chinguacousy Express, and the 185 Dixie Express.

Additionally, several more routes will be changed, including the 501 Züm Queen​, 511 Züm Steeles, 1 Queen, 3 McLaughlin, 8 Centre, 9 Vodden, 12 Grenoble, 16 Southgate, 18 Dixie, 20 East Industrial, 24 Van Kirk, 29 Williams, 33 Peter Robertson, 40 Central Industrial, 57 Charolais, and the 60 Mississauga Road.
