With more businesses reopening, and more residents of Mississauga returning to work, the City’s transit system is making adjustments to the routes it offers.

As of August 2, in order to prevent overcrowding on the 103 Hurontario Express, MiWay will be using larger buses during certain times of the day.

Additionally, the schedules for the 14 and 14A to Lorne Park, the 16 and 16A to Malton, and the 66 to McLaughlin will all be adjusted as of early August.

Further, on Monday (August 2), the Civic Holiday, several routes will not be running due to low customer demand, including the 28 to Confederation, the 35 to Eglinton-Ninth Line, the 46 to Tenth Line-Osprey, the 48 to Erin Mills, and the 68 to Terry Fox.

Masks are still required for all those using MiWay, and mask requirements will continue even after these changes come into effect.

In order to maximize passenger safety, all customers are encouraged to use PRESTO as a form of contactless payment.
