Changes coming to dozens of Brampton Transit routes start next month

You might see changes to your regular Brampton Transit schedule when the city shakes up specific routes next month.

Brampton Transit will be bringing in changes to dozens of lines throughout the city starting on Sept. 5, including new schedule timing, route changes and even a re-named route.

Here are all the Brampton Transit service adjustments coming on Sept. 5:

200 Series Secondary School Specials

Routes resume Sept. 5
Schedule adjustments on some routes to match adjusted school bell times

501 Züm Queen

AM peak: 10-12 minutes
Midday: 12 minutes
PM peak: 15-20 minutes

Route operates between Bramalea City Centre and York University via Hwy 407

AM peak:
Eastbound until 10:45am: 9 minutes
Westbound until 2:00pm: Approximately 30-36 minutes

Midday peak:
Eastbound until approximately 1:30 p.m. – 15 minutes
Westbound until approximately 1:30 p.m. – 30-36 minutes
Westbound from approximately 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – 15 minutes

PM peak:
Eastbound from approximately 1:30 to 7:00 p.m. – 30-36 minutes
Westbound from 3:00 to 7:15 p.m. – 9 minutes
