A noticeable change is coming to some 7-Eleven stores in Canada.

In a news release issued Tuesday, the company said that its rebranding its fuel stations in Alberta and Ontario starting this month.

Of the 550 7-Eleven stores in Canada, 63 also offer gas as part of the 7-Eleven brand.

But soon, those gas stations will instead become Petro-Canada or Esso/Mobil.

“Transitioning our fuel offerings to some of Canada’s most well-known brands means that we’re giving customers more of the familiar brands they crave in one stop,” said Marc Goodman, the vice president and general manager of 7-Eleven Canada.

7-Eleven stores with gas stations will remain open during and after the rebranding.

The changes will start to be implemented in mid-April and are expected to be finished by the end of the summer, the release said.

Promotions will be offered to mark the change, including in-store offers and free fuel giveaways, the release said.

“All 7-Eleven store’s iconic brands and menu offerings will remain unchanged, and all eligible in-store purchases will earn customers both 7Rewards points and the fuel partner’s loyalty programs,” it said.
