CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Tactical Officers on Scene After Bread Knife Attack in Brampton

A robbery in Brampton left a woman with minor injuries stemming from an attack with a long bread knife.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m., Peel police reported that a robbery occurred in the Steeles Ave and Mclaughlin Road area. The incident took place at a TD Bank.

After the incident, tactical police officers and K9 units were spotted at the scene, with some officers brandishing large automatic firearms.

According to police, the victim was robbed at knife point and the suspect fled on foot. 

The suspect has been described as a 6’ black male wearing a black hoodie with a balaclava covering his face.

According to police, he was observed running eastbound with the aforementioned knife.
