CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Police investigating string of break and enters in Mississauga pharmacies

Police are investigating and searching for the suspect(s) of a series of break and enters in Mississauga.

Since the beginning of July 2021, police say there have been nine pharmacy break-ins along Hurontario Street, Dundas Street, and Bristol Road, occurring overnight between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.

According to police, the suspect(s) enters the pharmacies through the front door or front window by smashing the glass with a rock or unknown tool.

“The suspect(s) then fled the scene with a quantity of cash, medication, and narcotics,” said police.

Police have posted a video of one such incident, showing a masked suspect flee a pharmacy with cash and medication:

 

The investigation is ongoing.
