One person is dead after a serious crash in Mississauga this evening.

The vehicle collision was reported shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Erin Centre Blvd near Glen Erin Dr.

It’s reported that the vehicle struck a hydro pole, knocking the pole down.

One occupant was pronounced dead while another has been taken to local hospital with unknown injuries.

Erin Centre is closed between Glen Erin and Plantation Place until further notice.

Police say they’re continuing to investigate the crash. More information to come.
