Cash, pills and cellphones seized in Brampton drug bust traffic stop: police

Two men from the Toronto area are facing trafficking charges after an alleged drug bust during a traffic stop in Brampton.

The OPP Highway Safety Division said on Monday that officers had stopped a vehicle in the area of Hwy 410 and Queen St. in Brampton.

Police say officers searched the vehicle and found undisclosed amounts of drugs and cash inside.

A photo shared by the OPP of the items allegedly found during the investigation includes cash, pill bottles, and multiple cell phones. Police say two male suspects from the Greater Toronto Area were arrested and charged with drug trafficking offences.

No additional details on the suspects have been released.
