Cases of COVID-19 turn up at two Brampton liquor stores

The LCBO confirms that workers in two Brampton locations have tested positive for COVID-19.

In a case that turned up yesterday (December 15), a worker at the store at Bramalea Rd. and Mayfield Rd. was discovered to have the virus. This person last worked on December 5 and is the second person to test positive at the location in the past few days.

Today, a COVID case was revealed at the LCBO on Chinguacousy Rd. and Clementine Rd. The last time this worker was at the location was on December 11.

In both cases the workers are now isolating at home.

The LCBO says it updates it list of COVID-19 cases on a regular basis in an effort to be transparent to the public. As well, it says it follows the direction of public health officials when determining how to proceed with the cases.
